Welcome to High Country Flight Training. The terms "we," "us," and "our" refer to High Country Flight Training. High Country Flight Training operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the "Services"). High Country Flight Training is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
The below terms and conditions, together with any policies referenced herein (these "Terms of Service" or "Terms") describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully, as they include important information about your legal rights and cover areas such as warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability.
By visiting, interacting with or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service or Privacy Policy, you should not use or access our Services.
SECTION 1 - ACCESS AND ACCOUNT
By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use the Services on devices you own, purchase or manage.
To use the Services, including accessing or browsing our online store or purchasing any of the products or services we offer, you may be asked to provide certain information, such as your email address, billing, payment, and shipping information. You represent and warrant that all information you provide is correct, current, and complete and that you have all rights necessary to provide it.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You may not transfer, sell, assign, or license your account to any other person.
SECTION 2 - OUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
High Country Flight Training offers flight instruction, discovery flights, gift cards, and related aviation services, as well as physical products including training materials, apparel, headsets, and accessories. We have made every effort to accurately represent all products and services in our store. Colors or product appearance may differ from how they appear on your screen due to device settings and configuration.
We do not warrant that the appearance or quality of any products or services will meet your expectations or be identical to depictions in our store. All product and service descriptions are subject to change at any time without notice at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any product or service at any time and may limit quantities on a case-by-case basis.
SECTION 3 - ORDERS
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. High Country Flight Training reserves the right to accept or decline your order for any reason at its sole discretion. Your order is not accepted until High Country Flight Training confirms acceptance. Payment must be received and processed before an order is accepted.
Please review your order carefully before submitting. High Country Flight Training may be unable to accommodate cancellation requests after an order is accepted. In the event that we do not accept, modify, or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the contact information provided at the time of the order.
All purchases are subject to our Refund Policy below.
You represent and warrant that your purchases are for your own personal or household use and not for commercial resale or export.
SECTION 4 - REFUND AND RETURN POLICY
Discovery Flights
Discovery flight bookings are confirmed upon payment. All sales are final. Cancellations, transfers, and refunds are not guaranteed and are handled solely at the discretion of High Country Flight Training.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, contact us as early as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you, but approval is not guaranteed.
Weather, maintenance, airspace restrictions, or other operational considerations may require us to reschedule your flight. In these cases, we will work with you to find an alternate date. Rescheduling due to these circumstances does not automatically qualify a booking for a refund.
Participants must arrive on time and prepared for their scheduled flight. Failure to appear at the scheduled time may result in forfeiture of the booking without refund. Participants must disclose any medical conditions, medications, or physical limitations that may affect their ability to safely participate. High Country Flight Training is not responsible for any undisclosed conditions that affect a participant's experience or safety.
Gift Cards
Gift cards are non-refundable and have no cash value. They may be applied toward discovery flights or any eligible service or product offered through High Country Flight Training. Gift cards do not expire. High Country Flight Training is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged gift cards.
Products and Merchandise
All product sales — including training materials, headsets, apparel, and accessories — are final. Returns and refunds are not guaranteed and are approved solely at the discretion of High Country Flight Training. To request consideration of a return or refund, contact us directly with your order details and reason for the request. Each situation will be reviewed individually.
High Country Flight Training is not responsible for damage, loss, or delay caused by third-party shipping carriers. Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon carrier pickup. Warranty claims on manufacturer products such as headsets must be directed to the original manufacturer.
SECTION 5 - PRICES AND BILLING
Prices, discounts, and promotions are subject to change without notice. The price charged for a product or service will be the price in effect at the time the order is placed and will be set out in your order confirmation. Unless otherwise stated, posted prices do not include taxes, shipping, handling, or import charges.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and payment information for all transactions. You represent and warrant that the payment information you provide is true and complete, that you are authorized to use the payment method, and that all charges will be honored.
SECTION 6 - SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
We are not liable for shipping and delivery delays. All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, or events outside our control. Once products are transferred to the carrier, title and risk of loss passes to you.
SECTION 7 - ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Aviation involves inherent risk. By participating in any flight activity with High Country Flight Training, including discovery flights and instructional flights, you acknowledge and accept those risks voluntarily. No guarantee of safety or specific outcome is made or implied.
High Country Flight Training, its instructors, and its staff are not liable for injury, death, property damage, or loss arising from participation in flight activities, except where prohibited by applicable law. Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically and physically fit to fly prior to any scheduled activity.
SECTION 8 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Our Services, including all trademarks, brands, text, images, graphics, video, audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof, are owned by High Country Flight Training, its affiliates, or licensors and are protected by U.S. and foreign intellectual property laws.
These Terms permit use of the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, republish, download, store, or transmit any material from the Services without our prior written consent. High Country Flight Training's names, logos, and slogans are trademarks of High Country Flight Training and may not be used without prior written permission.
SECTION 9 - OPTIONAL TOOLS
You may be provided access to third-party tools through the Services, which we neither monitor nor control. Such tools are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties or endorsement. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of optional third-party tools. Use of such tools is entirely at your own risk.
SECTION 10 - THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The Services may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or accuracy of any third-party sites. Access to third-party sites is at your own risk. Complaints regarding third-party products or services should be directed to the third party.
SECTION 11 - RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
High Country Flight Training is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. Any sales and purchases made in our store are made directly with High Country Flight Training. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of transactions between you and High Country Flight Training, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products or services. You expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from your purchases and transactions with High Country Flight Training.

All personal information collected through the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy. Because the Services are hosted by Shopify, Shopify collects and processes certain personal information in order to provide and improve the Services. If you submit ideas, suggestions, feedback, or reviews, you grant High Country Flight Training a perpetual, worldwide, sublicensable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute such feedback in any medium for any purpose. THE SERVICES AND ALL PRODUCTS OFFERED THROUGH THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES, OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, DURABILITY, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
SECTION 19 - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PROVIDED BY LAW, HIGH COUNTRY FLIGHT TRAINING, OUR PARTNERS, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS, CLAIM, OR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, OR REPLACEMENT COSTS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR ANY PRODUCTS PROCURED THROUGH THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
SECTION 20 - INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless High Country Flight Training, Shopify, and our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and service providers from any losses, damages, liabilities, or claims, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party rights, or your access to and use of the Services.
SECTION 21 - GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Montana. You and High Country Flight Training consent to venue and personal jurisdiction in the state and federal courts located in Montana.
SECTION 22 - SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 23 - WAIVER; ENTIRE AGREEMENT
Failure to exercise any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. These Terms, together with any policies posted on this site, constitute the entire agreement between you and High Country Flight Training regarding the Services and supersede all prior agreements.
SECTION 24 - ASSIGNMENT
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any of your rights or obligations without our prior written consent. High Country Flight Training may transfer or assign these Terms without notice to you.
SECTION 25 - CHANGES TO TERMS OF SERVICE
We reserve the right to update or replace any part of these Terms at any time by posting changes to this page. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically. Your continued use of the Services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
